DAY 1: Athens – Delphi
Welcome to Greece. Our assistant will meet you to deliver your Car.
Take the highway north. Pass from Thebes whose rich past has left little trace, the road winds through the mountains from one valley to the other, from Mount Parnassos. Make a detour to visit the monastery of Osios Loukas in the heart of the mountains of Fokida. A monastic treasure of Byzantine Greece. Visit the site of Delphi in the afternoon and the museum. It is at the heart of Greek civilization. For almost a millennium it was the navel of the earth. Dinner and overnight in Delfi.
>DAY 2: Delfi – Meteora
Take the road to to Kalambaka village near Meteora monasteries, one of the most spectacular sites in Greece. These monasteries, built on top of rocky peaks defy the laws of gravity and imagination. Spend at least the afternoon to visit many of them. Dinner and overnight in Kalambaka.
>DAY 3: Kalambaka – Vergina
On a beautiful mountain road and highway you enter Macedonia. Visit the royal tombs of Vergina, the spectacular tomb of Philip the 2nd of Macedonia discovered in 1977 and enter the magnificent museum. Drive to Thessaloniki. Dinner and overnight in the hotel.
>DAY 4: Thessaloniki
Second city and Greek port, this modern city has an important heritage and museums of Roman and Byzantine History, with ancient buildings retracing its past. A travel in Thessaloniki reconciles relaxation and animation. In the evening, the seaside welcomes guests in coffee corners, restaurants, small bars to spend the. The Central market is worth seeing, as is appreciated for its oriental atmosphere. Dinner and overnight in the hotel.
>DAY 5: Thessaloniki – Veria
Take the road to Veria. In the Middle Ages it was called "second Jerusalem" for its 72 churches. There are still dozens and you will enjoy a walk in the city center to discover them. Have a lunch in local restaurant and drive back to Thessaloniki. Dinner and overnight in the hotel.
